It may be used as either a topcoat for trowel or slurry floors or as a stand-alone coating. When used as a topcoat, Novolac Coating improves the chemical and abrasion resistance of flooring systems while making the floor easier to clean. As a coating for old or new concrete it offers outstanding protection from a wide variety of industrial chemicals including concentrated sulfuric acid.

Novolac Coating is used to enhance the chemical resistance and cleanliness of floor systems and as a stand-alone floor coating for extreme chemical service in areas such as:

- Wastewater vessels
- Other areas with heavy chemical exposure
For best results on concrete surfaces, use a penetrating primer. Where, water-proofing membrane is required, use a water-proofing primer.
